Review The News---My Attempt at Interesting Content

So, guys, I have moved from the realm of DIY projects and now have started taking a look at what is happening in the world. It is a big step and while I am not sure of the outcome, I know I want to, at least, attempt this so I know what I want to do on YouTube.

If you guys follow me, you will know that I am never settling down with any one topic. On YouTube, I don't have a niche, and I don't think I should have one. My channel flows like my life. I post what I want and if you want to stick around and watch, then that is great. So today's video is about a few news topics that I thought would be interesting to talk about. I kind of just briefly scratched the surface of the news in hopes that soon, my viewers would voice their opinions. That is the goal.

So here is the outcome:

Just looking for some constructive criticisms! :D

DIY Lemon Tea--Using the Whole Fruit

This DIY project is pretty self-explanatory, take some lemons and use them to make tea.  I knew I wanted to save money from buying already pre-packaged tea. That stuff can be very expensive and sometimes, you can't even find simple tea flavors. I know I have searched the supermarket tea aisle for something that was just lemon tea flavored for at least 10 minutes before giving up.
So with that,  I wanted to know if just taking it upon myself to make my own tea would work, and could I make it taste great?

So what would I use, Fresh or dried? Of course, if you can make tea from dried lemons, the flavor is often very concentrated and perfect for a cup of tea, but I didn't have time for drying lemons. (maybe later) But I learned that you can make it from fresh ones too.

Here is a video that I made showing how to make lemon tea two ways, one using the entire fruit and the other using just the peel. It was cheap and easy to make, and trust me, it tastes pretty good too.

All you need is:

Lemons
boiling water
sugar (honey can be substituted)

DIY Christmas Light Ornaments--Bring outdoors in this Christmas and Recycle

So here is something that I created for a tree my brother and I decorated. The parents had some old outdoor lights just boxed up and the colors happened to match perfectly with our scheme.

This is a really simple project and looks even better on the tree. The only sad thing is that these lights don't light up but you could always just bunch up already stringed lights and tie them together in the same fashion. Whatever you do, these old-fashioned outdoor bulbs will make your tree look very festive!

Check out the video below to see how its made.

Lava Lamp-- Groovy Science

So today's science experiment is one that I found online but wanted to try myself. When I was younger, I had a lava lamp that used to illuminate my bedside. I know what you are thinking..."How old are you again?" Trust me, I am young but old enough to know and experience the captivating movements of the lamp of lava.

Okay, back to the experiment. Here is how you can make your own lava lamp and get tons of fun out of watching it bubble.

Supplies:

1 bottle (any size works)
water (enough to fill 1/4 of the bottle)
oil (enough to fill the bottle)
food coloring (whatever color lava you want)
Alka-seltzer (or any effervescing product)

check out the video below to watch how to put it all together:
